SINGAPORE - The rise in e-commerce has led to more doorstep deliveries and heavier loads for postmen, as well as a new set of challenges for the entire postal delivery network.

In response to queries, SingPost said on Friday (Feb 8) that between November 2018 and January this year - a peak period for its services - postmen had to make about 50 to 60 doorstep deliveries on average a day, up from 20 to 40 a day during non-peak periods.
