SINGAPORE - Around 880,000 HDB households will receive $120 million worth of service and conservancy charges (S&CC) rebates in the financial year 2017.
The rebate, to provide additional support to households, was announced during the Budget speech in February.
Each eligible household will receive one and a half to three and a half months of rebate, depending on the type of HDB flat.
Those eligible will receive more details in a letter from end of March.
The rebate will be disbursed over April, July, October this year and January next year, and is used to offset a household's S&CC payment directly.
Town Councils will make the necessary arrangements with banks, for households who pay through Giro.
For more information on S&CC payment and account status, residents can contact their respective Town Councils, or the Enquiries Line at 1800-866-3078. The line is open from Mondays to Fridays, between 8.30am and 5pm.
Residents can also email sccrebates@mailbox.hdb.gov.sg regarding their rebate eligibility.
