SINGAPORE – Four men involved in a fight in Rochor Canal Road have been arrested and will face charges of rioting with a deadly weapon on Sept 10.

In a statement on Sept 9, the police said they were alerted to the fight at 4.15am on Sept 7.

The men, aged between 31 and 32, are suspected of attacking two other men after a dispute, and a number of them allegedly used deadly weapons, the police added.

One victim, aged 16, had stab wounds on his arm and the other victim, aged 26, had stab wounds on his back.

Early investigations found that the victims and the assailants knew each other, said the police.

The suspects were arrested on Sept 8.

If found guilty, they can be jailed for up to 10 years and also be given caning.
