From yellow, Singapore went to Dorscon orange on Feb 7, the higher alert level signalling a need for stepped-up measures to contain the spread of the virus. The simple task of washing hands is now serious business. Experts, knowing that the coronavirus is transmitted mainly via droplets and physical contact, advise hand hygiene in the fight against Covid-19.
