SINGAPORE – Three people were taken to hospital after an accident between a tipper truck and a van on the morning of Feb 3 in Tuas Crescent, towards Tuas Avenue 2.
Responding to queries, the police said they were alerted to the accident at about 6.15am.
The van driver, a 33-year-old man, and his passengers, two men aged 38 and 44, were conscious when taken to hospital, the police said.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it took two of the injured to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and the other man to National University Hospital.
The van driver is assisting with police investigations.
Photos of the aftermath of the accident, published by Chinese-language newspaper Shin Min Daily News on Feb 4, show the van door on the driver’s side badly crumpled and the van’s front tyre on that side missing.
