SINGAPORE – Three motorcyclists were taken to hospital after an accident with a taxi on PIE on the morning of July 29.

The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the accident, which happened before the Lornie exit, at 8.55am.

Photos of the aftermath show a man on a stretcher being attended to by three SCDF paramedics and a police officer.

A blue ComfortDelGro taxi can also be seen.

The police said that the three motorcyclists, who are men aged between 27 and 40, were conscious when taken to the hospital.

SCDF added that the three of them were taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

In a post on X at 9.37am, the Land Transport Authority said that there was traffic congestion from the accident site until Bukit Batok East Avenue 3.

Police investigations are ongoing.
