SINGAPORE - A man was injured after an accident involving three cars and a motorcycle along the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) and East Coast Parkway (ECP) on Tuesday (July 4).

Police told The Straits Times that they were alerted to the accident at 9.43am.

A 20-year-old male motorcyclist was conscious when conveyed to Changi General Hospital (CGH), said police.

Footage of the accident was posted on Roads.sg, with the post crediting a user named Mel Wee for the video.

The footage first shows two of the cars involved hitting each other, before the oncoming motorcyclist collided with one of the cars from behind, shattering parts of the motorcycle and damaging the back of the car. The motorcyclist can be seen sitting up after the accident, as the driver of one of the cars approaches him.

The video currently has 39,000 views.

Police investigations are ongoing.
