SINGAPORE - Some 29 school teams participated in the fifth Youth Entrepreneurs Competition at the Youthphoria mega carnival held at the Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) on Saturday (July 16).

The competition aims to promote social entrepreneurship and community leadership development among young people in Singapore.

All sales proceeds from participating teams will be donated to SDC's adopted charity, The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund, as well as the charities selected by the teams.

The Youthphoria carnival - which features performances, a concert, carnival games and blockbuster movies - is into its seventh year.

It is a platform for SDC to showcase and celebrate Singapore's youthful creative energy and talent.

Launching the event, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Grace Fu also unveiled SDC's 20th anniversary logo.
