2 Singaporean magicians to perform in North Korea next April

Magician, ventriloquist invited to take part in festival that featured fellow Singaporean last year

North Koreans have quite a sense of humour, it seems - especially when it comes to magic.

Singaporean magician Wee Kien Meng performed a series of tricks for children at the Pyongyang Circus in capital Pyongyang last year to raucous laughter from an audience that included party officials, diplomats, tourists and members of the public.
