SINGAPORE - While she was not eligible previously, Mrs Kwan Sook Kun, who turns 60 in October, will soon benefit from the Community Health Assist Scheme (Chas).

With Chas, the housewife can enjoy subsidised rates for medical and dental care, at participating general practice (GP) and dental clinics. "I'll be able to save quite a bit on healthcare expenses, such as on my twice-a-year visit to the dentist," she said.
