There appeared to be a heightened sense of urgency in Parliament yesterday around the question of how to secure Singapore's status as a maritime and aviation hub, on the back of ongoing disputes with Malaysia over maritime boundaries and airspace.

Mr Ang Wei Neng (Jurong GRC) asked how the disagreement over Singapore's territorial waters off Tuas would affect the viability of the future Tuas mega port.
