GE2015: 12 rallies on Tuesday, Sept 8, including lunchtime rally by PAP

SINGAPORE - The police have issued permits for 12 rallies on Tuesday (Sept 8).
The People's Action Party secured the lunchtime rally slot at the promenade area beside UOB Plaza from noon to 2pm, after it lost out in the ballot for Monday afternoon's rally to the Singapore Democratic Party.
It will also hold six rallies later at night - in Tampines, Pasir Ris-Punggol, Bishan-Toa Payoh and Nee Soon GRCs, as well as Hong Kah North and Mountbatten SMCs.
All evening rallies are from 7pm to 10pm.
The Workers' Party will hold its rally in Aljunied GRC, at Serangoon Stadium along Yio Chu Kang Road.
The other three opposition parties staging rallies are: Singapore Democratic Party, National Solidarity Party and Singapore People's Party.
Independent candidate Han Hui Hui, who is contesting Radin Mas SMC, will also hold a rally at the Delta Hockey Pitch.
