Singapore has some of the world’s toughest laws on vaping, banning not only sale and import but also possession and use of vaping products, with fines of up to $2,000.

Despite this, vaping is clearly on the rise.

In 2022, the Health Sciences Authority caught 4,916 people for vaping,

an almost fourfold increase compared with 1,266 people in 2020.
