If you could live anywhere in Singapore, where would that be and why? This was the question I posed to friends and family as my husband and I began our quest to buy a home in the island republic, after renting for over eight years in Clementi.
The answers were varied and surprising. I was expecting most of them to list prime areas in the vicinity of Orchard Road, Bukit Timah or Sentosa. Instead I got Bishan, Dover and yes, even Yishun.
