SINGAPORE – My bathroom is gently fragranced by a bar of soap I bought from a little town in Kyushu.
It is made from precious sake lees and looks artsy. The artisan, Ms Nozomi Toyoda, had swirled ultramarine, a colour extracted from lapis lazuli, through the creamy soap.
