The National Environment Agency (NEA) is urging all stakeholders to step up our collective mosquito and dengue prevention efforts, in the run up to the traditional peak dengue season of June to October. These warmer months are when there is usually higher transmission of dengue in Singapore, due to the accelerated development of the Aedes mosquito and shorter incubation period of the dengue virus.
