On a recent trip abroad, I made a huge sacrifice for my child because that is the sort of parent I am: I ate next to an amusement park. (Yes, I could have dined INSIDE the park, but there are limits to my generosity.)

Suffice to say, I expected nothing from this meal. Eating establishments in such places are well known to be terrible because they are feeding theme park patrons.
