TOKYO – Mr Tatsufumi Asayama has a CV that many would deem unconventional in Japan.
At a youthful 31 years of age, he has already chalked up a diversity of job experiences, first at a listed company (top pharmaceutical firm Chugai) and in government service (as a bureaucrat at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, or Meti), before joining a start-up where he works now.
