Theatre company Pangdemonium, long a fixture on the scene, announced on Feb 2 that it was closing.
For many theatregoers who came of age in the 2010s, Pangdemonium was a home-grown entry point into quality mainstream fare. An evening out with the company was a portal to an aspirational lifestyle that defined the cosmopolite, as much a part of city life as going to the museum, partaking of a good meal in a posh restaurant, or cocktails at the newest nightspot.
