A friend asked me recently if I was going to have a third child. I don’t know why, but the first thing that came to mind was the time I was reading in the living room and realised my twin boys had gone very quiet.
As any parent will know, this is suspicious. I found them in my bedroom – one of them colouring the other’s face black with permanent marker.
