Mega cruises are reinventing the modern holiday
The great irony of the modern cruise may be that the bigger and more elaborate the ship becomes, the less the outside world seems to matter.

On March 10, the Disney Adventure cruise ship left on its maiden voyage from Singapore. And since then, it has felt like the entire city has been swept into a kind of collective enchantment.
We have officially entered our Disney era. Just look at the stream of breathless social media posts showcasing gleaming castle-inspired atriums, character meet-and-greets and candy-coloured themed lounges.
