Retirement can be a time to appreciate life and reflect upon it. Just ask Mr Augustin Wong, 68. He worked as an engineer in the semiconductor industry and retired in 2006 at the age of 50. His wife, Ming Lee, is a business application specialist. They have two sons aged 39 and 35. He shares his retirement story.

I stopped working at 50. To transition, I did part-time consultancy work in operations management with various companies in Singapore for about three years.
