As a medical student, I have glimpsed the reality of motherhood first-hand.

First in obstetrics and gynaecology, where I witnessed the painstaking labour of carrying a child to term, as well as my paediatrics posting, where I appreciated the boundless joy and anxiety that come with parenting.
