For some months after I moved into my new flat in Tampines in 2023, I dreaded the commute to work.
My home is one of a cluster of new flats in a part of Tampines that, just a decade earlier, used to be forest and the old Tampines Bike Park. Like many other new estates, it is relatively inaccessible.
