There were tears, hugs and promises to keep in touch when 17 journalists in the 2024 batch of the Asia Journalism Fellowship parted in early September, after spending a month together in Singapore.
The remarkable thing is that they will stay tight friends. Most will return at the next opportunity, unless life’s challenges get in the way.
