We thank Mr Kwok Jung Yun for his letter “ Forest due for clearing in Woodlands deserves heritage impact assessment
As announced in the Draft Master Plan 2025, Woodlands Gateway is poised to become a vibrant employment, commercial, and manufacturing hub, and new flexible industrial spaces will be developed to support emerging business opportunities and provide good jobs in the region.
The Urban Redevelopment Authority and JTC Corporation are studying various ways to document and retain the historical memories of the building at 10 View Road and the wider site at Woodlands Gateway, as mentioned by Mr Kwok in his letter, and agencies will consult the relevant stakeholders, including the National Heritage Board, at the appropriate juncture. No decision has been made as yet, regarding the development of 10 View Road.
