Forum: More local sponsors needed for golfer Shannon Tan

I notice that Thai golfer Jeeno Thitikul, who

recently won the LPGA event in Thailand

, has so many logos and brands on her golf shirt that it is running out of spots to place new logos. This shows the level of support and sponsorship she gets from Thai companies.

In contrast, Shannon Tan, Singapore’s top women’s golfer who won three times on the Ladies European Tour, and topped the Order of Merit in 2025, and who is our only golf Olympian, has just one logo on her shirt and it is not even that of a Singapore company.

It is a shame local companies are not supporting or sponsoring her. She deserves more from our local corporate sponsors. This is also an opportunity to showcase our brands on the European ladies’ golf circuit.
