I wish to congratulate the RSAF crew, related personnel and all agencies involved in the successful repatriation which brought home from the Middle East more than 200 Singaporeans and their dependants, alongside foreign nationals (S’poreans on second repatriation flight from the Middle East arrive to loud cheers at Changi Airport, March 8).
As a Singaporean, I am grateful and proud of their courage and determination to bring back our exhausted and frightened fellow citizens from a conflict zone. They worked hard to ensure the safety and comfort of all the passengers on board.
We should also appreciate the coordination from the Saudi Arabian agencies which ensured the success of the repatriation.
