Forum: Is ScamShield working fast enough?

Having previously reported suspicious phone numbers and WhatsApp messages to ScamShield, I wonder if the app works fast enough to counter scams.
One message, from a +44 number, was clearly a scam: “Hello, I have arrived in Singapore. Are you busy now?”
The app confirmed that others had reported the message. Yet, the phone number had still not been blocked, even though it had been reported by at least eight people, and had first been reported three months ago.
I wonder how many people need to report a scam or for how long before ScamShield blocks the number. What happens after the suspicious message or phone number is sent to the authorities?
