The passenger information display system showing bus arrival times and other relevant information located at bus stops outside MRT stations, town centres and busy areas are helpful to commuters.
At other places, those with smartphones can check the transport app to find out the arrival time of their buses.
However, there are senior citizens who may not own mobile phones, let alone smartphones, and have no means to find out when the buses they are waiting for will arrive.
As a senior, I have often been asked by fellow seniors at bus stops when the buses they are waiting for will arrive and have gladly obliged.
Perhaps the authorities can consider installing the system at major bus stops in all housing estates. A small step towards inclusivity of seniors would mean a lot.
