My application to become a Singaporean has been rejected many times. My father, mother and siblings are all Singaporeans and were born here, but my mother was in Johor when she gave birth to me.
It seems that I have to pay a price because of bad luck or my parents’ negligence. My wish is thus to become a Singaporean.
