Singapore’s only wild cat may have found a new – but dangerous – home

, Feb 3). They may likely have swum across from Pulau Tekong or Pulau Ubin.

The clearing of land and deforestation in Changi, to make way for new developments like Changi Airport Terminal 5, for example, would limit their survivability.

To protect these lovely animals, could organisations such as the Singapore Wildcat Action Group and National Parks Board capture these animals from Changi under sedation and release them back into the wild in the central and western catchment areas on the mainland?
