We thank Mr Gurmit Singh Kullar for his feedback on the Health Promotion Board’s (HPB) fitness tracker (Consider giving out waterproof fitness trackers, Jan 24).

HPB-issued fitness trackers come with cost-effective features, and we provide them free to users to track their daily physical activity levels, heart rate, and sleep duration. Our goal is to motivate more Singaporeans to sustain healthier habits and take charge of their health.

HPB-issued fitness trackers are water-resistant, which helps minimise water damage from daily activities. They are not designed to be waterproof due to cost.

Besides HPB-issued fitness trackers, the Healthy 365 app is compatible with third-party fitness apps, as well as other commercial fitness tracking devices. Users who prefer additional features can consider commercial alternatives, and pair them with the Healthy 365 app to participate in our challenges and receive incentives. Users can find the list of supported fitness apps and compatible fitness trackers on the Healthy 365 website at healthy365.gov.sg
