Many leading bakeries in Singapore use too many plastic bags. I once saw staff at a bakery packing six small buns into six separate bags for a single customer. When I buy a few items, I request that they be put in one bag since they are for family members. As the world moves towards a greener economy, it is timely for businesses to minimise plastic use.
