Forum: Act against motorcyclists who endanger pedestrians

I refer to the letter “Motorcyclists using walkways to bypass carpark gantry” (April 23).

I agree with the writer that the Housing Board should act firmly to eradicate such illegal acts. I face the same issue in my estate in Bukit Panjang. Motorcyclists blatantly try all means to bypass the gantry at the carpark.

I have noticed one motorcyclist who tries to evade the parking charges by pushing his motorcycle along the pavement every morning. This has been going on for months. I have also written to HDB, asking it to take action.

I hope the Housing Board can take residents’ feedback seriously to avoid any confrontation between residents and motorcyclists who endanger pedestrians.
