Forum: 3 improvements new FAS chief can focus on

I refer to the articles on the upcoming Football Association of Singapore presidency elections ^_ “Sea’s billionaire founder Forrest Li confirms bid to become Singapore football chief” (March 17), “Football Association of Singapore chief Bernard Tan will not seek re-election” (March 29), and “Balestier Khalsa’s Darwin Jalil joins FAS election fray” (March 31).

Hopefully, the contenders can bring in team members who do not have any baggage in the football fraternity and are bold enough to implement game-changing changes.

Regardless of who wins, however, I would like to see the incoming team engage and tap the experience and views of the losing team, as it may have some very good ideas.

Also, I hope FAS’ engagement and outreach efforts will be enhanced, and the FAS website will be revamped.
