I’ve been thinking about the imposter syndrome that afflicts high achievers globally and also in Singapore, a nation of go-getters where our pursuit of success is relentless. Yet, when we find success, we ask ourselves if we deserve it.

It’s now 12 days into the Year of the Snake, which conjures up new beginnings in Chinese culture. The serpent sheds its skin throughout its lifetime of growth spurts, amply qualifying it as a symbol of renewal and transformation.
