Visitors ride a carousel which is part of Wonder World - The Machine of Nostalgia, at Cathay Green, during the media preview of the?Singapore Night Festival on August 21, 2024. ?The brainchild of Singaporean contemporary artist Sam Lo ?SKL0?,?Wonder World - The Machine of Nostalgia?immerses visitors in a 1950s amusement park which includes murals by local artists, featuring advertisements set in the 1950s reimagined with the integration of Lead sponsor Samsung?s Galaxy AI. Organised by the National Heritage Board, and supported by Lead Sponsor Samsung, the Singapore Night Festival (SNF) returns for its 15th edition this year. Taking place from 23 August to 7 September 2024, the festival features over 50 programmes including projection?mapping artworks, performances, festival villages, and night lights installations at?venues around the Bras Basah Bugis precinct which includes places such as the National Design Centre, ?CHIJMES, and Stamford Arts Centre.
