Changi Airport Group stated that due to a global outage affecting the IT systems of many organisations, check-in processes for some airlines at Changi Airport were being managed manually.

The Housing Board said in a Facebook post that 185 carparks in its estates, managed by one operator, were affected by the IT outage on July 19, 2024. Contingency plans have been activated, with barrier arms of the affected parking gantries lifted to allow motorists to enter and exit. The carpark operator has also deployed staff to assist motorists.
