In Pictures: Spain’s traditional festival of ‘Els Enfarinats’

During the annual Els Enfarinats (The floured ones) battle in the Spanish town of Ibi, participants dress in military clothes and stage a mock coup d’etat as they battle using flour, eggs and firecrackers outside the town hall. The 200-year-old tradition is part of the Day of the Holy Innocents celebrations, a time in Spain for pulling pranks.
