Porn viewing increases a person's risk of developing a negative body image, unhealthy romantic relationships and an addiction to porn and other sexually compulsive behaviours.

"Since Internet porn is here to stay and cannot (by the nature of the Internet) be controlled, we need balanced education of both children and parents, and appropriate education on what healthy sexuality and sexually appropriate behaviour is," said Mr Andrew da Roza, a psychotherapist with Promises Healthcare and chairman of We Care Community Services, which treats addictions.
