SINGAPORE - Universal Studios Singapore has been named the best amusement park in Asia by travel site TripAdvisor for the fourth year in a row.

The park is no. 17 in the world ranking, which is topped by Universal's Islands of Adventure in Orlando.

Award winners were determined using an algorithm that took into account the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings for amusement parks worldwide, gathered over 12 months, TripAdvisor said.

The top-ranked park in Europe is Europa-Park in Rust, Germany.

Hong Kong Disneyland ranks second in Asia and 25th overall.
