China's largest online travel agency Ctrip is seeing a strong pent-up demand among Chinese travellers, who make up 20 per cent of Singapore's tourist arrivals.
Its chief executive officer Jane Sun tells The Sunday Times that the company is partnering the Singapore tourism sector to prepare for the return of Chinese travellers to the Republic as early as China's Labour Day holidays in May, if the coronavirus outbreak is under control by then and overseas travel restrictions for the Chinese are relaxed.
