The company I once served at is probably about to lay off staff again. It is probably the most difficult time for management staff - having to decide who gets to keep his job and who does not.
During my tenure with that company, I inherited a team of 114 staff members and six months after I joined, I was told to submit a list of 20 names for retrenchment.
