The grand European train stations of the 19th century were the inspiration for Stadium station, which also referenced the curves of the nearby Singapore Sports Hub.
Designed by Mr Wong Mun Summ and Mr Richard Hassell from Singapore architectural firm Woha, the station opened in 2010 as part of the Circle Line.
