SINGAPORE - One of Singapore's best sushi chefs is opening his own restaurant.

In July 2019, chef Koichiro Oshino, 49, will open an eight-seat sushi-ya at the Raffles Hotel, with the backing of Shinji by Kanesaka, which runs sushi restaurants at the Carlton Hotel, where chef Oshino currently works; and The St Regis Singapore.
