The upcoming Hollywood thriller Hitman: Agent 47 stars Zachary Quinto, Rupert Friend - and the sights of Singapore.
The two actors were spotted filming at locations such as Gardens by the Bay last May, and on the poster, The Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, the Arts House, the Supreme Court, the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Flyer can be clearly seen.
The teaser poster and trailer of the movie based on the Hitman video game series were unveiled worldwide on Wednesday (Feb 11) at 10pm, Singapore time.
In the trailer, a bald man with a barcode tattooed on the back of his is being questioned.
"Who exactly are you?"
"An assassin," is Friend's calm response before he takes apart the luckless interrogator and the room despite being handcuffed.
Quinto (Star Trek Into Darkness, 2013) is the worried guy who knows how powerful Agent 47 is and his information-laden speech is intercut with a scene of men in special ops gear abseiling onto Robinson Road. There is even a glimpse of an MPH Bookstores sign and blue Comfort cabs on the street.
And then mayhem is unleashed as cars crash, shots are fired and a helicopter plunges into a building.
It is not quite clear where all of the death and destruction is taking place but Singapore is definitely a major part of the picture.
