Nicky Hilton, 31, and James Rothschild, 30, got married in a lavish ceremony in London on Friday (July 10).

The bride, the great-grandaughter of Hilton Hotels' founder Conrad Hilton, is a fashion designer, while the groom is the executive chairmain of the Rothschild Group, one of the world's largest independent financial advisory groups.

The couple, who got engaged in August 2014 while on holiday in Lake Como, Italy, tied the knot at the Orangery within Kensington Palace in front of guests including Kate Beckinsale, Petra Ecclestone, James Stunt and Chelsea Clinton, entertainment website Channel 24 reported.

The hotel heiress walked down the aisle with her father, Richard Hilton, in a custom-made white lace Valentino gown, featuring long sleeves, a dramatic train and a high neck, reportedly worth £50 000(S$105,321).
