New acts for Neon Lights: US synth-pop duo Chairlift and Singapore's .gif among them

Music and arts festival Neon Lights, which takes place at Fort Canning Park on Nov 26 and 27, has added five new acts in its line-up.

They are Belgian electronic music duo 2manydjs, American synth-pop duo Chairlift, British electronic music act SBTRKT, Guyana-born reggae/dub act Mad Professor, and home-grown electronic music duo .gif.

The newly announced acts join bands previously announced, including Icelandic post-rock outfit Sigur Ros, British indie rock band Foals, Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna and home-grown singer-songwriter Gentle Bones. A total of 25 music acts will perform over the two days.

The festival, which launched at the same venue last year, will also feature Silent Disco, where partygoers dance to music heard through their headphones.

Besides music performances, the all-ages festival will also feature art performances, workshops, spoken word activities and circus acts.

Tickets start from $25 for a one-day pass for children under 12, and go up to $1,150 for a two-day pass for six adults. Go to www.neonlights.sg/
