Lee Byung Hun, Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs to star in Rush Hour 4

SEOUL (KOREA HERALD/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Korean actor Lee Byung Hun will star alongside American rapper Sean Combs, also known by his stage name P. Diddy, in the fourth Rush Hour movie.

Lee's management BH Entertainment said Thursday that Lee had already filmed Rush Hour 4 with Combs, but declined to disclose further details due to contractual agreements.

The Rush Hour action-comedy franchise, which previously starred Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker in the lead roles, will reportedly not see the pair reprise their popular roles in this fourth installment.

Local media speculated that Lee and Combs may take on the central roles instead, since a billboard advertising the film has already been spotted in California. Photos of the ad are circulating online.

Lee has landed roles in several Hollywood action films, including G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra and its sequel; the action comedy Red 2; and Terminator Genisys, which is slated to open this summer.

The 44-year-old actor returned to South Korea on Monday after filming action thriller Beyond Deceit, which also stars iconic actor Al Pacino.

Lee's agency said earlier this week that his plans for the near future are to remain close to his wife and newborn son.
